Easy Monday's - How To Limit Your List
I used to be just like everyone else, stressing out on a Monday, spending hours on the computer sending e-mails, while trying to run errands and get laundry done.
That was until I shortened my to do list and let the day run it's own course.
I was always so stressed out on a Monday that I ended up setting up a horrible, stressful week for myself.
Now my Mondays consist of a short 3 item to do list, 3 things that I MUST get done today. Once I'm done with that list, well, then that's it. I then let the day take on it's own course.
I thought that maybe I'd forget a couple of things, maybe I'd miss out on something important that needed to be done. Or maybe that I would take forever to do those 3 things.
What happened really blew my mind.
I ended up not only completing my 3 items within the first 2 hours of waking up, but the rest of the day was just so super easy because I didn't have this huge long list to rush over.
I casually got laundry done while catching up with TV, enjoyed my day running errands and going by the gym, and was completely relaxed as I waited in the carpool to pick up my child from school.
My blog posts were more easily written and e-mails were replied to promptly before dinner.
It was amazing how easily your mentality can switch when you weren't bombarded with the massive monday to do list.
Now every night, I create a new list of 3 things that I need to get done the next day, and every day has become this smooth transition that lets me be spontaneous, yet productive.

Doubting Yourself
I've always been a real doubter when it came to things I wasn't sure I had the right skills for. I've always thought that I could do well at anything I did, but successful? That was a different story.
In my past, when things are going well, I'm ecstatic of course. I dream big, create larger goals for myself, and imagine paradise. Then ... something bad happens, I hit a pothole, or have to take a step backwards. That is when I completely back pedal, and begin to doubt myself, and take almost 4500000 steps in the opposite directions.

Awaiting The iPad 2
Currently, I am on of those tech nerds scouring every blog and twitter feed, awaiting the announcement of the iPad 2. I am a huge Apple fan, from computers, to iPods, every single iPhone, lover of iTunes, and everything else. One thing though that I was skeptical was the iPad. I thought it was super cool, but thought that it did everything my iPhone and Macbook did, and that it would be a waste of money.
That was before it got a bunch of cool upgrades like wireless printing. That was also before my mother waltzed in one day and showed me her new iPad.

Automating My Business
I started my business 3 years ago. After my daughter was born, I was only 18 and didn't have the heart to leave her every single day and work some job making $7/hour. I would have to work, all day, every day, to just even afford our essentials. Luckily, I had the help of my family who provided everything for us, but I wanted to look at our things and think "I provided this."
One day my mother brought up the subject of house cleaning, and how my aunts were also thinking about cleaning homes. In my area, cleaning a home for 2 to 3 hours, I researched that I could charge at least $100. So I began cleaning a couple of houses a week, and a couple of years later, here I am running a business and managing 4 employees.
One step that I've been taking recently is automating my business. After hiring my employees, I found that I wanted to stay home with my daughters more, but wasn't able to because of always being on the phone, having to fill in on cleaning homes, and chasing down clients for estimates and billing.
Here is how I fixed all of that:
